Our client is a leading “Software Development” company is looking for an experienced “Senior Software Engineer / Software Engineer” to join their Canada team immediately.
Job Description
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Software Engineering is an added advantage.
- 2 – 3 years of industry experience in IT working in a similar role.
- PHP (Yii1, Yii2), Java, NodeJS
- Oracle, MySQL, Elastisearch, MongoDB, Redis, Clickhouse, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat.
- JavaScript, Ext JS, React JS & Angular will be an advantage.
- Exposure to Linux.
- Experience with SVN tools such as GIT / GIT Lab.
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
- Team player with profound leadership skills and ability to take responsibility for projects assigned.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good proficiency in English (Written/Spoken).
